Racine County will host its annual Charity Golf Outing on Friday, Aug. 25, 2023, at Ives Grove Golf Course in Sturtevant. Proceeds from this year's event will benefit the Trent McReynolds Scholarship Fund.

The Trent McReynolds Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Trent, son of former Racine County Executive Bill McReynolds, a skilled plumber who dedicated his life to his craft. 
The scholarship is designed to support individuals who are pursuing a career in the trades, just like Trent. The Trent McReynolds Scholarship recognizes the importance of skilled trade workers in our society, and the need for more people to enter these professions. 
The scholarship provides financial assistance to individuals who are pursuing vocational or technical training in fields such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, or welding. This scholarship supports the education and training of the next generation of tradespeople, and honors Trent's legacy by ensuring that his contributions to society will continue to be felt for years to come.
